„Ed Ruscha’s Stains is a portfolio of 75 stains, each on a separate sheet of paper (plus a blood stain on the box’s lining). I made stains using the same materials as Ruscha and matched the paper and box as closely to the original as I could. However, since my Stains box was made 40 years after Ruscha’s, some of the stains are less faded, yellowed, etc.“ (Eric Doeringer)
